Rohan McDonald is a visual artist based in Philadelphia, PA. He received his BFA in printmaking from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture in 2022. Working alongside master printers, and in painting and sculpture studios for many years, he developed a practice spanning a variety of mediums. Mixed-media is essential to Rohan's work, acting to translate digital, as well as physical found-objects and patterns into unique compositions. Rohan draws influence from biology, anthropology, urban-environments, materials, film, and other artifacts. The combination of these mediums and elements highlight connections and rifts between the natural world and the technological forces that it competes with.
